TORONTO (AP) _ HudBay Minerals Inc. (HBM) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $99.7 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier. The Toronto-based company said it had profit of 38 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 26 cents per share. The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 27 cents per share. The mining company posted revenue of $414.1 million in the period. For the year, the company reported net income of $163.9 million, or 67 cents per share, swinging to a profit in the period. Revenue was reported as $1.36 billion. HudBay Minerals shares have decreased slightly more than 7 percent since the beginning of the year.
