Eaglecrest Increases San Simon Land Holdings Additional 1,100 hectares optioned with surface gold showings
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 27, 2007) - Eaglecrest Explorations Ltd. ("Eaglecrest", the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:EEL)(FRANKFURT:EAT) today announced it has optioned an additional 1,100 hectares to add to the San Simon land package in northeast Bolivia. The new concession increases Eaglecrest's contiguous mineral title by 3.7%, to 31,100 hectares. Previous work on the new property includes surface rock chip and soil sampling as well as geologic mapping. Soil samples were collected over a 10,000 hectare area at a spacing of 100 by 100 metres; analysis of these samples will be paid for by the company as part of the acquisition agreement. Prior rock chip samples were collected and returned from below detection gold to 9.6 grams per tonne gold. Additional rock chip samples remain to be analyzed by the Company as part of the new agreement. "With great surface gold showings on the new property, this acquisition speaks to the confidence we have in the San Simon project," said Hans Rasmussen, President and Chief Operating Officer. "It is also the last available concession in the San Simon area that has 100% mineral title." Mineral rights on the ground that are not covered by "active concessions", as defined by the President's Decree 29117 on May 1, 2007, are now held by the federal government (see Eaglecrest's May 3, 2007 News Release for more details).
