Vancouver, BC �January 3, 2008, Bellhaven Copper & Gold, Inc. (TSX-Venture: BHV) ("Bellhaven" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the signing of a service contract with Fugro Ground Geophysical Ltd. ("FGG") to carry out a geophysical survey over the Pitaloza Concession in the Azuero region of Panama. The geophysical survey will cover aproximately 20 kilometer lines of gradient array/IP survey over three epithermal gold targets in the 100% owned Pitaloza Concession. The program has been designed to define and add to the existing drill targets at Bejucosa, Caracucho and Cementerio�all within the Azuero property package just 8 km from Bellhaven's Cerro Quema Gold Project (set to go online in 2009).

The field work will start on January 10, 2008 and FGG expects to complete the program by the end of the month. The information gathered will be used to assist in further establishing priorities for drill hole locations. A drill program at the Pitaloza Concession could begin as early as April 2008.
