RAYO IN MEXICO
Toronto, Ontario: Soltoro Ltd. (SOL:TSX.V) has received the balance of
assay results from its 2nd phase of Diamond drilling on its El Rayo
silver/lead/gold project in Jalisco, Mexico. The 2nd phase was
designed to confirm historic metal values at Rayo and to test for the presence
of a bulk mineable silver deposit at various areas of the property. Highlights
from the 2nd phase of drilling were returned as follows:

Note: Assays for holes 25 and 26 are preliminary results. Final
certificates from ALS Chemex have not been received in time for this
release.
Soltoro President Andrew
Thomson reports: These results serve to confirm that widespread silver
mineralization occurs over the 3.2 kilometres strike length that makes up the El
Rayo and Bolas structures. The 3rd phase of drilling to test airborne
geophysical targets is near completion pursuant to which resource definition
drilling along the El Rayo and Bolas structures is planned. We are sourcing a
percussion drill to conduct the program scheduled to begin later in 2007.
Further mapping and assaying to investigate the silver and gold potential of the
property is ongoing.
A
historic, non 43-101 compliant, 7 million ounce silver resource has been reported within the El Rayo and Las Bolas structures. The Consejo Recursos
Minerales, a Mexican government geological agency, defined 1,346,072 tonnes at
169 gpt silver in a report dating from 1992. A qualified person has not done
sufficient work to classify the historical estimate as current mineral
resources. Soltoro is not treating the historical estimate as current mineral
resources and the historical estimate should not be relied upon.
Assaying of samples was
conducted by ALS Chemex. Silver and other elements were analyzed using
four acid near total digestion
with an ME-ICP finish. Mr. William McGuinty,
P.Geo, is the Company's qualified person as defined by NI 43-101 and has reviewed the contents of this press release.
Soltoro is a junior
exploration company active in Mexico with 19,678,600 shares
outstanding. The Company is exploring for gold, silver and copper deposits in
Mexico. Shares trade on the TSX
Venture Exchange under the symbol SOL.
