International Atomic Energy Agency Invites UEC COO, Harry Anthony, to Address ISR Procedures in Vienna

The high caliber of Uranium Energy�s technical team is being recognized this month as UEC�s Chief Operating Officer, Harry L. Anthony, travels to Austria to speak, by invitation, before the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) at their Technical Meeting in June.
The IAEA is the world�s center of cooperation in the nuclear field. It was set up as the world�s "Atoms for Peace" organization in 1957 within the United Nations family. The Agency works with a team of 2,200 multi-disciplinary professional and support staff from more than 90 countries to promote safe, secure and peaceful nuclear technologies.
The focus of the Technical Meeting is to present, discuss and disseminate knowledge about the In-Situ Recovery (ISR) uranium mining technology. ISR is a proven mining method that will be employed by UEC to extract Uranium with less environmental impact and substantially lower capital expenditure requirements than conventional mining methods.
Mr. Anthony is a pioneer in the development of this emerging uranium extraction technology. He has been a professional engineer for over 40 years and is an internationally recognized expert in the uranium industry.
Mr. Anthony has been asked by the IAEA to speak about the development of UEC�s past, present, and future operations as well as the regulatory procedures associated with the ISR mining and restoration processes.
Joining Mr. Anthony will be experts from other countries including Australia, Kazakhstan, Russia, Canada and the Czech Republic.
