Ivanhoe Mines files NI 43-101 technical report for the updated
Mineral Resource estimate at the Platreef platinum-group metals,
gold, nickel and copper project in South Africa
VANCOUVER, CANADA - Ivanhoe Mines (TSX: IVN) today announced that, further to its news release dated May 11, 2016, the company has filed a National Instrument 43-101 technical report on the updated Mineral Resource estimate for the Platreef platinum-group metals, gold, nickel and copper project in Limpopo Province, South Africa.
The Platreef 2016 Resource Technical Report was prepared for Ivanhoe Mines by OreWin Pty Ltd., Amec Foster Wheeler E&C Services Inc., SRK Consulting Inc., Stantec Consulting International LLC. and DRA Projects (Pty) Ltd. The report has been filed on the SEDAR website at www.sedar.com and posted on the Ivanhoe Mines website at www.ivanhoemines.com.
