Excellent Infill Drill Results

 

 

Dear Eric,

Globe Metals & Mining (�Globe� or �the Company�; ASX:GBE) is pleased to announce the following update on activity at the Kanyika Niobium Project (KNP) in Malawi.

 

The Company has now received approximately 50% of the infill drilling results from the 15,000m KNP drilling program undertaken in 2012 and has made significant progress on a number of other activities required to complete the Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) already underway.

 

Highlights

 

In-fill Drilling has encountered wide zones of moderate to high grade mineralisation intersected at depth and along strike from known mineralisation

Best results include:

KARC239 25m @ 4,289ppm Nb2O5, 99ppm Ta2O5, 122ppm U3O8 (from 136m)
incl. 11m @ 6,632ppm Nb2O5, 138ppm Ta2O5, 182ppm U3O8 (from 136m)
KARC244 58m @ 4386ppm Nb2O5, 200ppm Ta2O5, 110ppm U3O8 (from 95m)
KARC276 12m @ 5,173ppm Nb2O5, 216ppm Ta2O5, 131ppm U3O8 (from surface)
KARC284 44m @ 13,210ppm Nb2O5, 330ppm Ta2O5, 408ppm U3O8 (from 57m)
incl. 13m @ 25,938ppm Nb2O5, 597ppm Ta2O5, 842ppm U3O8 (from 69m)

Discussions advancing with China Development Bank regarding project financing parameters

Major technical areas within refinery flow sheet resolved � potential joint ventures with third party Chinese refiners progressing with assistance from ECE
