| Latin American ADRs Getting Slaughtered, Brazilian Real And Crude Continue To Tumble | |
| | |
|
On Tuesday, the Brazilian real hit an all-time low in relation to the U.S. dollar.
Crude oil also fell on Tuesday; macro concerns surrounding the Chinese economy linger.
In this context, Latin American ADRs are getting pummeled in the stock market.
The Brazilian real fell to a new all-time low on Tuesday, and one U.S. dollar is now worth roughly 4.05 reais. The Sao Paulo Stock Exchange also fell substantially to 45,906.22 Bovespa index points. In this context, Brazilian ADRs (stocks of Brazilian companies traded in U.S. exchanges) are declining considerably, dragging other Latin American ADRs with them.
