TORONTO, Canada – Treasury Metals Inc. (“Treasury Metals” or the “Company”) (TSX:TML) announced today that Dr. Scott Jobin-Bevans has stepped down as President and as a Director of the Board. Martin Walter, the current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who joined the Company in December 2010, will assume the expanded role of President and CEO. Dr. Jobin-Bevans will continue to be involved with the Goliath Gold Project as a consultant working with the Company’s management team on the development and expansion of the project.

Over the past several months, the Company expanded the management team including Mr. Walter who brings more than 15 years of operational and international mineral and mine development experience. Dennis Gibson was appointed as Chief Financial Officer and Greg Ferron joined as Vice President of Corporate Development. On the technical side, Andrew Cheatle, formerly of Goldcorp Inc., joined the Company in January 2011 as Vice President of Exploration. Since joining, Mr. Cheatle has assembled a technical team of geologists and has assumed the management of day-to-day operations at the Goliath Gold Project.

The Board of Directors would like to thank� Scott� for his valuable contributions to the Company from the IPO in August 2008 until now.

In addition, the Company has scheduled its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on the 9^th of June at 2:30 pm to be held at the Toronto Board of Trade. The purpose of the meeting will be the presentation and approval of the audited statements, election of directors, appointment of auditors and for a general corporate update.
