(NYSE Amex: GSS) (TSX: GSC) (GHANA: GSR) ("Golden Star" or the "Company") today announced that Roger Palmer, formerly Vice President Finance and Controller of Golden Star, has been named Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He replaces former CFO John Labate, who has left the Company to pursue other interests.
