Nemaska Intersects 97.9 m of Spodumene Bearing Pegmatite on its Lithium (Whabouchi) Property and Confirms the Continuity of the Main Zone
QUEBEC CITY, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Feb. 10, 2010) - Nemaska Exploration Inc. (Nemaska or the Company) (TSX VENTURE:NMX) announces a 97.9 m (75 m estimated true width) intersection of spodumene bearing pegmatite on its lithium (Whabouchi) property. This intersection confirms 200 m lateral extension to the West, of the main zone, which was identified last October. The main zone has already produced an intersection of 100.9 m (80.6 m estimated true width) of spodumene bearing pegmatite in October 2009. This intersection is part of the current 8,000 m Diamond drilling campaign that commenced on January 15, 2010 on the Whabouchi property.
"All the holes completed to date show mineralization over widths of 10 m or more," commented Mr. Guy Bourassa, President and CEO of Nemaska. "Given the width and consistency of our initial results we have decided to accelerate the drilling campaign by adding a second drill. We are presently drilling the pegmatite zone on a 100 m grid over a distance of 1400 m."
A ground magnetic survey was done in January over a 14 km grid. The results of this survey confirms the presence of the pegmatite zone already identified by drilling and will help better target the future drill hole locations.
