NEW DRILL PLAN TO TEST SHALLOW ZONES AT NAMDINI

HIGHLIGHTS

• Data received will assist with enlarged pit design planning

• Planned RC holes to test mineralised updip extensions at shallow depths

Cardinal Resources Limited (ASX: CDV) ("Cardinal" or "the Company") announces that an independent drilling contractor, Minerex Drilling Contractors, has been contracted to drill shallow RC drill holes on the Namdini Project ("Namdini").

The Minerex drill rig, together with the company owned combination RC/Diamond drill rig, will drill RC drill holes into the untested shallow zones at Namdini (Figure 1).

RC drilling will be along the eastern side of the Namdini mineralised corridor on each previously drilled 50m section line so that 3 drill holes will be on each section (Figure 2). The results from this planned drilling are expected to provide sufficient shallow data to enhance the Exploration Target for the Namdini Project which is due to be announced during Q3 2016.
