2008

Welcoming 2008
Dear Subscriber:
On February 6th
2008 NaiKun Wind Energy Group Inc. held its Annual General Meeting in
Vancouver. Chairman, President and CEO Michael C. Burns addressed
shareholders and reflected on the company's significant achievements in
2007.
"The past year
was our most successful and active to date. We continued to add high
caliber talent to our Board and executive, secured agreements with key
industry leaders, closed a significant private placement and concluded a
formal agreement with the Haida Nation. Work at the project site
progressed on schedule with the installation of a $2.5 million
meteorological station," said Mr. Burns.
Indeed, we managed
to achieve several milestones including securing key agreements with
industry leaders, like ENMAX, Siemens and GL Wind Test. Our profile
continued to grow with a series of prominent announcements including the
$35 million private placement, finalized partnerships with North Coast
First Nations and the installation of the first Canadian offshore laser
anemometer and meteorological station at the project site in Hecate
Strait.
This year promises
to be just as exciting as we prepare for the BC Hydro Clean Power Call.
We have assembled a high caliber executive team and an impressive board
of directors, including recently appointed Joe S. Houssian and Fred
Dabiri that has positioned us well for the 2008 call.
Our momentum
continues to grow and we are eager to move our project forward. Please
find a synopsis of NaiKun's latest news and developments in this edition
of the NaiKun News Digest.
