14 April 2011 - Evraz Group S.A. (LSE: EVR) (?EVRAZ?) is pleased to announce that it has been named the best European company in the Best Financial Disclosure category in the 2011 IR Global Rankings (IRGR) survey. During the award ceremony in London held earlier today, Evraz has received also an award for the Best Progress in Financial Disclosure.
It is the first time when the top award in the Best Financial Disclosure was presented to a company headquartered in Russia. Second to fifth places in this nomination were awarded to Telekom Austria, EDP Energias de Portugal, BASF and Turkcell.
The analysis conducted by IRGR is based on the quality of the information provided on each participant?s latest financial material, mainly financial reports, earnings releases and interim reports, within the following categories: Operating Information, Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Guidance, Conference Calls & Presentations, and Exemplary Disclosure. Once the technical evaluation has been completed, an independent technical committee oversees and reviews IRGR?s findings and final rankings to ensure the independence of such analysis.
