By now you may have read about the resignation of Richard Mark as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors. We wish him well on his future endeavours and appreciate all of his efforts towards developing the company we see today.

At this time, our drill program at the Imiak Hill Conduit Complex is set to begin. Like all of you we anxiously await the results for drill holes that will begin testing below the high grade nickel intercepts we announced at the end of our 2013 drill program. Geophysical surveys at the Imiak Hill Conduit Complex have been completed and data is being interpreted. 

Chief Operating Officer Neil Richardson has assembled a team of highly experienced geologists to oversee the daily exploration on our 100%-owned Maniitsoq property and we have full confidence in our team on the ground in Greenland.

We are committed to moving the company forward and striving to deliver exceptional shareholder value. We will continue to update you on the ongoing exploration and mining developments at our Maniitsoq property as they become available.

(TSX VENTURE: NAN) (OTCBB: WSCRF) (CUSIP: 65704T 108) (the �Company�) announces that Mr. Richard Mark has resigned from his position as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company.  Mr. Mark will not stand for re-election as a director at the July 9, 2014 annual general meeting of shareholders.

Mr. Mark commented �As a large shareholder of NAN, I am very optimistic and excited about the 2014 exploration and zone drilling programs at NAN�s 100-per-cent-owned Maniitsoq nickel sulphide project in southwestern Greenland. Neil Richardson has put together a fantastic team and I am confident nothing will be overlooked. I will miss the day to day intensity of running North American Nickel, but must admit, I look forward to spending more time with my wife and daughter this summer.�

On an interim basis, Mark Fedikow, PhD and P.Geo; will take-on the CEO role in addition to his responsibilities as President.  Douglas Ford, an independent director, has been appointed Non-executive Chairman. The Company has commenced a formal CEO search.
