Hello Everybody,
I am on the road over the next couple of days and will be
presenting the Tirex story to some
great groups. It's a great time to be doing this because, with the
recently announced intensification of activity on the property, I
expect a lot of news flow from our efforts to start flowing from
our aggressive District-scale exploration program. With 102 geophysical
anomalies identified by flying the first ever airborne geophysical
survey in Albania's history, 17 known historical deposits (9 of which
were formerly in production), a recently topped up healthy treasury and
a world-class exploration team implementing and building the program;
we have exciting times ahead.
Today, I wanted to attach a recently published article on Mirdita and the opportunity Tirex
has by conducting the first ever large scale modern exploration of the Mirdita District. The article was just published in
Global Capital Markets Magazine in London, UK. I thought that you would
find it an interesting read.

Opening the doors to Albanian promise
A 40-year period of isolationism. Gold
values that were carefully guarded as a state-secret. 750,000 concrete
bunkers with lookouts and gun emplacements. Mining camps that were run
in part by prison labour. While this type of intrigue and mystery would
seem to belong in a spy novel rather than a mining publication, it
describes perfectly the situation in Albania in the decades prior to
the country opening up for investment in the 1990s. What a diff erence a couple of decades make as the country is
now abuzz with activity in the mineral sector, led by a Canadian
company purposeformed to explore the riches
of Albania, Tirex Resources.
