TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 5, 2011) - Centamin Egypt Limited ("Centamin" or "the Company") (TSX:CEE)(News - Market indicators) is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Aujard as UK Company Secretary and General Counsel and Katharine Sutton as Head of Investor Relations, both of whom will be based at the new Company office situated at 14 Berkeley Street, London (effective late October 2011).

Mr Aujard joins Centamin from Royal London, a large UK-based life assurer, where he held the position of Group Legal Director and Company Secretary. Prior to this, Chris spent time with a number of major financial institutions and banks in London, including Lloyd's of London and Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander, in senior legal and company secretarial positions. Chris has over 25 years' experience in a variety of sectors and geographies. 

Ms Sutton has worked with Centamin since early 2009 as one of the Company's Financial Public Relations consultants at Buchanan, wherein the position of Account Manager she advised a number of FTSE 250 and AIM 50 mining companies on their financial communications. Prior to this, she was a broadcast journalist with the BBC for three years.
