Energy Plans Adjournment of Annual and Special Meeting
CALGARY, ALBERTA –- Delphi Energy Corp. announced
today that the annual and special meeting of shareholders scheduled for May 21,
2009 will be convened as scheduled, but Delphi plans to adjourn the meeting in
order to have sufficient time to deliver to shareholders a corrected form of
proxy and address certain related matters. The annual and special meeting is
expected to be adjourned to Thursday June 4, 2009.
Delphi anticipates
sending the amended proxy materials to its shareholders shortly and will include
the time and place at which the meeting will be reconvened. The record date for
the reconvened meeting will remain unchanged as April 16, 2009.
