Yankee Hat Positions For Rapid Expansion

Yankee Hat Minerals Ltd. (the “Company”) announces that it plans to expand and pursue the acquisition of undervalued gold prospects in both North and South America. The Company’s Fran project, located in northern British Columbia, provides a very solid asset foundation upon which the Company can build an attractive portfolio of gold prospects.
With the recently announced changes to the board of directors and management, Yankee Hat now has access to a strong network to source world class gold exploration and development opportunities. Equally important is management’s ability to access capital markets in order to fund and exploit these opportunities.
Yankee Hat’s directors and management recognize that a more comprehensive investor relations program is required to create awareness of the Company’s aggressive expansion plans. For this reason, Yankee Hat is pleased to announce that it has retained Bay Street Connect to provide investor relations and financial communications services to the Company. Bay Street Connect, a Toronto based employee-owned firm, provides communications services to Canadian public companies, primarily in the mining sector. The contract with Bay Street Connect is for an initial term of six months and can be terminated with 30 days notice. Bay Street Connect will be paid a monthly retainer of $5,000 and will be granted 240,000 options, exercisable at a price of $0.18. The options shall vest in increments of 25% in each of the first four quarters, and are governed by the terms and conditions of the Company’s stock option plan. The principals of Bay Street Connect are Gus Garisto, Steve Veitch, and Michael D’Amico. The contract with Bay Street Connect is subject to approval by the TSX Venture Exchange.
