VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ Pretium Resources Inc. (PVG) on Thursday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $8.6 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had a loss of 5 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 4 cents per share.
For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $60.7 million, or 35 cents per share.
Pretium Resources shares have climbed 11 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased 76 percent in the last 12 months.
