Summary
Drilling on the high-grade Merlin molybdenum (Mo) and rhenium (Re) deposit has revealed a number of new high-grade intercepts including an intersection of almost pure molybdenite mineralisation.
Recent drilling on the eastern flank of the Merlin mineralisation has extended the mineralised zone down dip to a depth of 500 metres below surface.
An updated Mineral Resource estimate will be released in the December quarter 2009, incorporating the results of the step-out drilling and infill drilling into the inferred resources. This will be 43-101 compliant (Canadian code) and this is required before completion of the Merlin scoping study.
Preliminary development project studies are being progressed including the tender process for an exploratory decline at the Merlin site.
