CITIGOLD RAISES $2 MILLION

9 May 2011: Brisbane, Australia - Citigold Corporation Limited (Citigold) (ASX:CTO, FSE:CHP) today announced that it has raised $2 million through a placement to high wealth individuals.

This successful private placement through local investors will assist to advance the Charters Towers gold project.

Citigold is attracting larger long term investors to the share register evidenced by the holding of the Top 20 shareholders increasing from 37% at end 2010 to 42% recently
