Request for trading halt pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 17.1

Global Geoscience

Pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 17.1, Global Geoscience Limited (Global) requests that a trading halt be granted by ASX in respect of Global securities with effect from the commencement of trading on Thursday, 7 April 2016.

For the purposes of ASX Listing Rule 17.1, and in support of its request, Global advises that:

1. the trading halt is requested pending an announcement by Global in relation to a proposed acquisition;

   
   

2. it requests that the trading halt remain in place until the earlier of such time as it makes an announcement to the market about the proposed acquisition, and the commencement of normal trading on Monday, 11 April 2016; and

   
   

3. it is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
