Operations at Main
Processing Plant
IMPACT Silver Corp. ("IMPACT" or the "Company") has
resumed operations at the 500 tonnes-per-day
("tpd") Guadalupe Processing Plant
after an accident that occurred at the plant on July 7, 2011. The plant was
shut down immediately for three consecutive days to allow for a formal
investigation of the circumstances, however, other exploration and mining
activities operated as normal.
IMPACT is committed to developing and implementing the highest safety
standards for its employees in Mexico. The Company is taking the
appropriate and measured steps to return the plant to production by
utilizing both the experience of the mines' safety staff, and will be
engaging independent consultants to ensure ongoing safety and stability of
the plant and the Company's personnel.
