	Thursday, August 30, 2007 Serengeti Retains BMK Communications, Grants Options
	NR: SIR 2007-18 Vancouver, B.C., August 30, 2007: Serengeti Resources Inc. (TSX-V: SIR) is pleased to announce that, subject to regulatory approval, the Company has retained BMK Communications Inc.("BMK") of Vancouver, B.C. to provide investor relations and marketing services on behalf of Serengeti. BMK provides investor relations services to public companies in North America and specializes in development and management of customized marketing programs. Principal, Lisa May has more than 10 years marketing experience and will focus on raising market awareness of Serengeti's exciting Kwanika copper-gold project where a large-scale, advanced exploration program is currently underway. The agreement with BMK has an initial three month term and includes compensation of $6,000 per month and the grant of 100,000 incentive stock options, exercisable at a price of $1.31 per share for a two year period. The agreement with BMK is subject to regulatory approval and all terms will be subject to and in accordance with the rules and regulations of the TSX Venture Exchange. The Company also announces the grant of an additional 585,000 incentive stock options to directors, officers and consultants to the Company, exercisable at a price of $1.31 per share for a period of five years. The Company currently holds in excess of $21.5 million in cash and cash equivalents.
