Toronto, Canada: (TSX Venture: APM, Frankfurt: NJGN) Amerix Precious Metals Corporation (‘Amerix’ or ‘the Company’) announces that its Board of Directors has commenced a review of strategic alternatives for the Company with the objective of enhancing shareholder value. As part of the strategic review process, the Company will be examining a number of alternatives including, but not limited to, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, mergers, acquisitions, and the sale of the Company or other corporate transactions to enhance shareholder value.
Amerix has entered into discussions and has executed confidentiality agreements with a number of interested parties. The Company has not set a schedule to complete its evaluation and there can be no assurance that any transaction will result. The Company does not intend to disclose further details with respect to its review of strategic alternatives unless and until the Board of Directors has approved a specific transaction or such disclosure is otherwise appropriate.
