ROANOKE, Va. (AP) _ RGC Resources Inc. (RGCO) on Monday reported fiscal second-quarter profit of $2.8 million.
The Roanoke, Virginia-based company said it had net income of 59 cents per share.
The natural gas provider posted revenue of $26.4 million in the period.
RGC Resources shares have dropped slightly since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $21.95, a rise of 14 percent in the last 12 months.
