Carrick Gold Limited (ASX Code: CRK) is currently offering a Rights Issue to eligible shareholders (Offer). The Offer is scheduled to close at 5pm (Perth Time) Thursday 11 October 2012.

Your Company is in the process of transforming from an explorer to a gold producer, and the funds raised through this Rights Issue will be applied to meeting the target of commencing production in January 2013.
 
Your Directors expect this transformation to lead to a substantial re-rating from both analysts and investors. Demonstrating this confidence in the Company and its plans, all of the Directors and the Company�s major shareholder, who together own more than 36%, are taking up all of their entitlements.
 
You are being offered 1 new share for every 5 existing shares held at the Record Date at an issue price of $0.26 (twenty six cents) per share.
 
Shareholders who subscribe for their full entitlement will also have the opportunity to apply for additional shares under the Shortfall Offer at the same price of 26 cents per share. In the event of an oversubscription applications will be scaled back pro-rata.

Carrick Gold Limited has established a BPAY� facility for those shareholders wishing to participate in the Offer and preferring the convenience of electronic payment. You can also pay by cheque, bank draft, or money order. All payments need to be received by the registry by no later than 5pm (Perth Time) Thursday 11 October 2012.
