PRESS RELEASE No. 04/2008
Vancouver, BC, February 4, 2008 -- Copper Ridge Explorations Inc.
("Copper Ridge" or the "Company") announces the results of the 2007
Diamond drill program at Scheelite Dome in the Tintina Gold Belt, Yukon
as reported by Riverside Resources (TSX-Venture: RRI). Riverside has an
option to earn a 65% interest in the 108 km Scheelite Dome property
from Copper Ridge. The following is excerpted from the Riverside
Release:
"The five-hole, 601.42 meter program focused on the Aorta structural
corridor, an east-west striking zone of gently-dipping monzonite dikes
and intrusion-related gold mineralization. Results, listed below,
include several ten meter intervals of potentially ore grade gold
mineralization and one high-grade interval.

Previous drill holes into the Aorta structural corridor returned
similar long intervals of gold mineralization including 54.9 meters of
0.45 g/t (RC97-11), 43.4 meters of 0.56 g/t (SH98-10), 20.3 meters at
1.03 g/t (SH99-23), 8.9 meters of 1.81 g/t (SH99-24), and 15.8 meters
of 1.88 g/t (SH98-12). When combined with the 2007 program, these
intercepts demonstrate continuity of low-grade, near-surface gold
mineralization along the Aorta structural corridor.
The target at Scheelite Dome is an intrusion-related gold deposit
similar to Fort Knox and/or Dublin Gulch. A 2007 technical report for
the Fort Knox mine reports proven and probable reserves of 159.67
million tonnes at 0.53 g/t gold. A 2006 technical report on the Dublin
Gulch deposit reports an indicated mineral resource of 66.5 million
tonnes at 0.916 g/t gold. Both reports are NI 43-101 compliant.
Analyses were performed by ACME Labs using aqua regia digestion on a 15
gram sample followed by ICP-MS analysis. Carl Nelson, VP Exploration
for Riverside Resources, is the qualified person responsible for
ensuring that the geologic information provided in this news release is
accurate."
Mr. J. Greg Dawson, P.Geo., Vice President of Exploration for Copper
Ridge, is the Company's Qualified Person for the Scheelite Dome project
and is responsible for the technical content of this news release.
Copper Ridge's exploration philosophy focuses on maximizing the
potential for success in a high-risk business. With grass roots mineral
exploration, where the entry cost is low but the potential reward can
be very high, success will be contingent on exploration skill and on
carefully managed risk. Our management team brings tenacity, technical
skill and experience, all crucial ingredients for discovery. By
exploring a broad array of projects, focusing on the right commodities,
in areas of high mineral potential, in mining-friendly jurisdictions
and by sharing the risks on some projects with joint venturers, Copper
Ridge is exposing its shareholders to a greater chance for discovery.
The Company is anticipating an active field program on its Yukon and
British Columbia properties in 2008.
