     SRA Senior Debt Restructuring Efforts Underway

TORONTO, ONTARIO.  October 1, 2008.  Strategic Resource Acquisition Corporation ("SRA") announced that it is in discussions with significant holders of its Series I Notes (the ?Series I Notes?) to restructure aspects of the Company?s senior secured debt. 

As required under the Trust Indenture governing the Series I Notes, the first quarterly sinking fund payment of $1,875,000 was made to a trustee on June 30, 2008.  The second quarterly payment due on September 30, 2008 has not been made by the Corporation. The Indenture provides for a cure period of sixty days for sinking fund payments, during which time the Company anticipates restructuring aspects of the Series I Notes.
