VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 10, 2012) - RockBridge Resources Inc. ("RockBridge" or the "Company") (News - Market indicators) is pleased to announce that it has signed a Strategic Alliance Agreement ("SAA") with Crimson Energy Ltd. ("Crimson"), a private oil and gas company of Calgary, Alberta. In accordance with this agreement, RockBridge and Crimson have agreed to cancel their previous agreement that contemplated their proposed merger, and instead make efforts in the near future to effect a business combination of the companies when financial markets are improved.
Under the SAA, the two companies will continue to work together on existing and new possible projects of interest including in the Violet Grove area of Alberta. Michael O'Byrne, a principal of Crimson, shall continue as President and CEO of RockBridge.
Management of RockBridge is currently putting together an update on its operations and plans, and anticipates issuing a further news release next week with that update.
The Company now anticipates that the halt in trading will be lifted by the Exchange and trading of the Company's shares will resume shortly.
