| Sowing Seeds of Success: Aboriginal Community Impact Update | |
| | |
|
Understanding how things grow is a big part of PotashCorp's business - from planting the seeds, to nourishing the soil, to reaping the eventual reward.
It also takes time to help a community grow, so PotashCorp has made a long-term commitment to support Aboriginal communities by creating opportunities for young people. Education and training have been priority areas, with approximately $3.7 million invested in development programs and more than $250,000 in scholarships for Aboriginal students.
'We see the potential in First Nations and Métis communities,' says PotashCorp President and CEO Jochen Tilk, 'and we believe that potential will be an important part of Saskatchewan's growing success for generations to come.'
In this Fall/Winter 2015 Aboriginal Community Impact Update, see how PotashCorp is nurturing the careers of young Aboriginal people through our summer employment programs. You can also check out how we are helping Aboriginal entrepreneurs get their ideas up and running.
