Robex
Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:RBX
- News; FRANKFURT:RB4 - News) is delighted to
announce that the first results from the drilling campaign currently taking
place at Nampala confirm the extension towards the
north-east over more than 200 m with concentrations such as 2.16 g/t over 5
meters and 0.92 g/t over 41 meters. The oxidized gold-bearing zone, with a
width of at least 200 meters, has a north-east trend with a moderate dip
towards the north-west. This zone remains open towards the north and
geologists are currently planning bores in order to assess the extent of this
extension. Robex has completed around a third of
the 70 planned bores needed to complete the calculation of the resources
which will be incorporated into the feasibility study. Bumigeme,
the well-respected Canadian engineering company, has been awarded the
contract for performing this feasibility study whose purpose is to confirm
the economic viability of an open-air mining operation using a 5,000 tons a day cyanide processing plant with an
estimated annual output of 45,000 ounces of gold.
Andre Gagne, the CEO, commented: "I'm very happy with the first
results we've obtained as these allow Robex to
increase its resource on Nampala. Furthermore, the
possibility of extending the mineralized zone to the north-east is
particularly encouraging news".
