Tide Drilling Completed

Vancouver, BC -- November 26, 2007: David Caulfield, President and CEO
of Rimfire Minerals Corporation ("Rimfire") reports that the 2007
drilling program at the Tide Property has been completed. This program
consisted of Diamond drilling at the 36 Zone and nearby North Pit and
Riptide zones, surface channel sampling, and detailed geological
mapping. The 2007 program was funded by American Creek Resources Ltd.,
under an option agreement to earn a 60% interest in the Tide Property.

Eight Diamond drill holes, totalling 1835 metres, were completed during
the program. Five holes were drilled to test the 36 Zone, where a 2004
discovery drill hole intersected 1.0 g/t gold over 129 metres. One hole
was drilled at each of the North Pit and Riptide Zones, as well as one
to investigate the area between the two zones. A plan map of the

Crews completed 318 metres of surface channel sampling (121 samples)
and detailed geological mapping on selected drill sections and between
drill holes to sample east-west trending quartz-pyrite-arsenopyrite
mineralized fractures that are the dominant gold-bearing host. Similar,
although less extensive sampling in 2006 showed a correlation between
fracture density and gold grades. The additional data collected this
year will better define spatial trends of higher fracture density to be
used for drill targeting in 2008. Analytical results from drilling and
surface work are expected by January.

The results contained in this news release have been reviewed by Mark
Baknes, M.Sc., P.Geo., Vice President Exploration, a Qualified Person
under National Instrument 43-101.
