As a result of a review by the British Columbia Securities Commission, we are issuing the following news release to clarify our disclosure:
STRATHMORE MINERALS CORP. (News - Market indicators)(PINK SHEETS:STHJF)(OTCQX:STHJF) ("Strathmore" or "the Company") announces that as a result of a "limited technical disclosure" review by the British Columbia Securities Commission ("BCSC"), the BCSC identified a "number of disclosure and filing issues." The following news release is issued to clarify the Company's disclosure in its NI 43-101 Technical Report on the Gas Hills Uranium Project, Fremont and Natrona Counties, Wyoming, dated July 20th, 2011 and the Scoping Study of the Strathmore Resources (US) Ltd Church Rock Deposit McKinley County, New Mexico USA, dated April 4th, 2011. Both reports contain information that is not NI 43-101 compliant, and the public should not rely on the reports or their results. In addition, the public should not rely on the Gas Hills mineral resources disclosed in the July 21st and August 5th news releases and Church Rock preliminary economic assessment disclosed in the April 5th news release. Strathmore is addressing the issues raised by BCSC, and will prepare and SEDAR file amended reports in the near future.
Strathmore is working closely with the authors of the two technical reports and the BCSC to ensure that these reports become fully compliant in our disclosures and filings as soon as possible.
