Program to begin for High Grade Copper Target

West Vancouver, British Columbia - May 26, 2008 - International
Bethlehem Mining Corp. (the �Company�) reports that it is awaiting
authorization for its �Notice of Work� permit so that it can proceed with its
planned surface trenching program on its copper-gold property located on
northern Vancouver Island, British Columbia (the �Steele Skarn
Property�).
The
trenching program will commence upon receipt of the permit and will consist
of opening up 1.5 km of old logging road followed by six, 100 metre excavator
trenches. The trenches are designed to test the width and continuity of
the high grade copper mineralization discovered and mapped in August 2007 by
Brent Hemmingway, Geologist and vendor of the Property. The newly discovered
mineralized skarn zone was mapped and measured to be approximately 11 metres
wide and consists of massive chalcopyrite pods within a garnet-actinolite
skarn. Three selected grab samples of the mineralization at the showing were
assayed at Acme Laboratories of Vancouver (�Acme�) and returned values of
23.69% Cu, 6.89% Cu and 16.68% Cu. Acme�s analytical technique consisted of
pulverizing and digesting a one gram sample in an aqua regia acid solution.
The resulting solution was analysed by Inductively Coupled Plasma Emission
Spectrometry (�ICP�). Samples running greater than the maximum value
for standard ICP analysis were re-analysed by diluting the sample so that the
ICP was capable of giving a more accurate reading.
The
trenching program is intended to evaluate the continuity of this new copper
discovery. This work will be followed by detailed geophysics, geological
mapping and, upon success, core drilling.
