Update on Yorbeau's 2010 Drilling Program at the Rouyn Property
MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Feb. 25, 2010) - Yorbeau Resources Inc. ("Yorbeau"') (TSX:YRB.A) is pleased to report that its 2010 drilling campaign on its Rouyn property appears to be producing significant results. Recent drilling indicates that the gold zones hosted by the Piche Group on the Cinderella and Lake Gamble blocks continue to the east and west and to depth. In addition to mineralization in the Piche Group, the gold zone hosted by metasediments ("the footwall zone") now appears to be continuous between Lake Gamble and Astoria, and between Cinderella and Augmitto. Drilling results, combined with compilation of historical data, indicate that the Rouyn property hosts 2 (two) sub-parallel prospective mineralized structures, each hosting significant gold intercepts over considerable strike lengths. The objective of the 2010 drilling is to test potential extensions of high-grade drill intercepts along those two prospective structures at the Lake Gamble and Cinderella targets.

2010 Drilling Program:

Drilling during early 2010 is being focused on: 1) the un-drilled gap between Lake Gamble and Astoria; and, 2) the areas east and west of Cinderella hole 519. The objective in these three areas is to test, in each case, a 300-600 m wide zone bounded by drill holes with high grades of gold. The target in this program is the gold mineralization in both the Piche Group rocks and the footwall zone, which are separated in individual drill holes by distances ranging from 10 to 100 m.

The most important results from 2009 are those that indicate high grades of gold occur at both Lake Gamble and Cinderella in the footwall zone, which is a zone of quartz veining with pyrite, arsenopyrite, pyrrhotite and brown tourmaline as well as intense silicification hosted by metasediments that are structurally below the Piche Group. This zone hosts the bonanza gold grades in Cinderella hole 09-CI-519 (74.67 g/t Au over 10.35 m, including 5,750 g/t over 0.13 m; see press release of September 23, 2009). The zone also hosts high grades of gold in the western portion of the Astoria deposit (underground hole 10013; 13.9 g/t Au over 4.1 m; 140.9-145.0 m; historical data).

The primary objective of the 2010 program is to continue testing the footwall zone (which extends over more than 3.5 kilometres along strike) and to identify continuous and potentially mineable zones with higher gold content within that mineralized structure. The 2010 drill holes 10-GA-508 and 509 have been completed and both have cut the Piche Group and the footwall zone. Hole 509 in particular has penetrated strong veining and mineralization in the footwall zone, with two quartz veins, each several meters wide, containing pyrite, arsenopyrite, pyrrhotite and brown tourmaline, the mineral assemblage that is also prominent in hole 09-CI-519. Hole 519 A was wedged as the first hole of the 2010 program at Cinderella, which resulted in an intersection of the footwall zone 16 m distant from the 2009 intersection. Both the Piche rocks and the footwall zone are strongly mineralized in this wedged hole. Assay results are pending.

Assay results from certain holes drilled in late 2009 are shown in the following table.

Samples are analyzed at ALS-Chemex in Val-d'Or, Quebec. All samples are analysed by standard fire assay. Samples returning more than 3 g/t are re-analyzed by fire assay with a gravimetric finish. Selected samples were analysed by metallic sieve method. Yorbeau has implemented a QA/QC program that consists of inserting blanks and gold standards in batch samples being sent to the assay laboratory. Selected pulp samples will also be re-analysed by a different laboratory.

Yorbeau Resources at PDAC, March 7-10, 2010

Yorbeau will have its booth at stand 2614A in Session A (Sunday and Monday, March 7-8). Core samples will be on display along with maps and cross sections showing results of the Company's exploration in the Augmitto-Astoria corridor. Core from the bonanza zone in hole 09-CI-519 will be on display.

Yorbeau will also display core samples at the Core Shack in Session B (Tuesday and Wednesday, March 9-10) in Booth #5025B. Core from the bonanza zone in hole 09-CI-519 will be on display.
