Update on drill results from Nicholas-Denys
Rimouski, May
2, 2007 – Puma Exploration (PUM-TSXV) is pleased to announce results from
four additional holes drilled on the Hach� and Shaft lens of the Nicholas-Denys
property in New Brunswick.� All four holes met their targets and intersected
rich mineralization of precious and base metals.
Hach� Lens
Two of the
holes cut the Hach� mineralized lens, with respective grades of 108 and 96 g/t
Ag and of 0.53 and 0.46 g/t Au. As such, the Hach� lens is continuous over a
lateral distance of 150
meters, and remains open in all directions.� The core of
this lens was cut previously to a vertical depth of 126 meters, with 125 g/t
Ag, 0.61 g/t Au, 3.7% Zn and 1.9% Pb over 3.9 meters.

Shaft Lens
During the
same drilling program, two holes were located on the Shaft lens.� These drillings
confirm the presence of zinc enrichment in this lens, in addition to regular
precious metal mineralization as encountered by the 2.2-meter intersection of
the F07-06 hole with 217 g/t Ag, 2.35 g/t Au, 3.1% Zn and 4.4% Pb, as well as
the 3.6-meter intersection of the F07-07 hole with 109 g/t Ag, 3.0% Zn and 3.1%
Pb. Hole
F07-06 intersected three distinct mineralized zones over a stretch of 35 meters of thickness,
starting at a depth of 65
meters.
