UPDATED PRODUCTION GUIDANCE FOR FY14/15

Aditya Birla Minerals Limited ("ABML" or "the Company") advises that total copper production for the full year to 31 March 2015 is now expected to be in the range of 13kt to 15kt.
The reduction in total copper production from the previous guidance of 16kt to 18kt of copper is due to the following:
- Delay in commissioning new stopes due to changed ground conditions which needed alternative safety plans;
- Deferment from short term to Life of Mine plans of higher grade stopes from the South limb ore block due to changed ground conditions as impacted by the sinkhole. Replacement contingency stopes have been scheduled and require development.
