The Valuation of Endeavour Mining Capital

2008 will be the first full year Endeavour Mining Capital does business as new corporate entity. They will now be revalued as a merchant banking company, which commands a higher multiple from the market.

Endeavour Mining is in a strong growth phase as evidenced by their stellar dividend growth which is forecasted to be 18 cents over 2008. That�s a 154% increase in dividends paid out from just three years ago and 38% higher than 2007. That in itself is a good testament to this company�s ability to profitably grow. Comparatively few resource companies on the TSX pay dividends. But in any industry, three years of dividend growth is quite an accomplishment. Even so, EDV�s share price is off $3 from its 52 week high and in trading in the low $8 range.
