Full Metal Zinc Ltd. (the Company or Full Metal Zinc) is pleased to announce that Steve Hayes has joined the Company as President and Chief Executive Officer, and as a member of the Board of Directors, effective November 1st, 2011. Steve Hayes succeeds Robert McLeod, who will remain as a member of the Board of Directors and will provide support and direction to Mr. Hayes as the Company continues its exploration programs. Mr. Hayes began his career with Noranda Sales Corporation, working in multiple commodity groups in a commercial capacity over the course of eight years. Thereafter, he joined Breakwater Resources, a mid tier zinc focused mining company. Over a 14-year career with Breakwater, Mr. Hayes was responsible for the companys marketing, purchasing and ultimately corporate development. Mr. Hayes left Breakwater in conjunction with its recent takeover by Nyrstar. I am excited to be working with the Full Metal Zinc team, who through the 40 Mile discovery, have clearly demonstrated their excellence at identifying zinc opportunities with great potential. I look forward to working with them to build upon the 40 Mile success, and seek other complementary zinc assets. The medium term fundamentals for zinc are compelling, and Full Metal Zinc is well positioned to benefit from the strong prices that will prevail as a result, said Mr. Hayes. In connection with his appointment, the Company has granted Mr. Hayes 500,000 stock options having an exercise price of $0.23 per share and a term of 10 years. Michael Williams, the Companys Chairman, comments, I am particularly pleased that someone with the caliber and experience of Steve has agreed to join us at Full Metal Zinc.
