ZINIFEX LIMITED ACQUIRES 95% OF WOLFDEN RESOURCES INC.

Wolfden Resources Inc. (WLF:TSX), is pleased to announce that it has been advised by Zinifex Limited ("Zinifex") that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Zinifex Canadian Enterprises Inc. ("ZCE"), has taken up and accepted for payment approximately 86 million common shares ("Common Shares") of Wolfden pursuant to ZCE's offer (the "Offer") to acquire all of the outstanding Common Shares for Cdn.$3.81 in cash per Common Share. The Common Shares acquired by ZCE represent 95% of the issued and outstanding Common Shares. Wolfden has been advised that ZCE will pay for all of such Common Shares taken-up on May 8 on or before May 11, 2007 in Toronto. Zinifex has indicated that as ZCE has acquired over 90% of the outstanding Common Shares pursuant to the Offer, it intends to acquire the Common Shares that remain outstanding pursuant to a compulsory acquisition as permitted by the Business Corporations Act (Ontario).
