	Commander Resources Ltd. (CMD-TSX Venture) reports partial results from the fall exploration program in the White Bear area of the Hermitage uranium project including strong uranium assays from trenching and the discovery of several significant radon gas anomalies extending trends of known uranium mineralization. Trench results The first batch of results from the fall back-hoe trenching program on the eastern portion of the property returned three assays ranging from 0.12% to 0.18% U3O8 and four with values from 0.02% to 0.07% U3O8 from four trenches in the vicinity of the He-1A target area (refer to the map posted on the Company's website). The better uranium values were recovered where the trenches terminate at a 150 metre long pond, located about 30 metres east of the trace of drill hole WBR-07-14 (reported in the Company's news release dated June 4, 2007). A trench located a further 35 metres to the east did not encounter a radiometric response, but there is evidence that a fault may have offset the zone southward under the pond. There is no outcrop in this area. The uranium mineralization discovered in theses trenches is stronger than in the nearby drill hole but there are indications that the zone may widen further into the pond. Additional trenching, followed by drilling is required to adequately test this target on both sides of the interpreted fault. Results are awaited for 47 composite rock chip samples collected from radiometric zones in trenches sampled elsewhere on the property. Alpha-track survey results A significant radon gas anomaly extends 200 metres eastward from the WB1 and WB2 uranium prospects and westward for a further 150 metres on the opposite side of a 100 metre wide river (refer to map on the Company's website). In this environment, radon gas is produced from uranium contained in bedrock. A second, northwesterly trending radon gas anomaly, found approximately 150 metres to the north of the WB1 and WB2 prospects, extends 200 metres northwest from the river and is open at the end of the survey area. At the Doucette Prospect, a radon gas anomaly extends for 300-400 metres east of the area drilled in early 2007 and is open to the southeast. In the same area a radon gas anomaly extends for 200 metres east of the WB3 uranium prospect and remains open. A radon gas anomaly, detected at the southern margin of the main five square kilometre survey grid, is 500 metres long and is open to the south. Radon gas anomalous in the area of uranium prospects will be prioritized for full evaluation once we have received all of the trenching results. Analytical procedures Each trench sample consisted of 1.5 kilograms of material collected from exposed bedrock at the base of the trench. Samples were sent to ACME Analytical Laboratory, Vancouver, BC where they were analyzed using 4B Trace element analysis. Uranium is determined by ICP mass spectrometry following a lithium borate fusion and nitric acid digestion of a 0.2g sample. All uranium values expressed in U3O8 are calculated from uranium analyses received from ACME Analytical Services and reported in ppm U.
