July 28, 2008 Forsys Appoints Valencia General Manager TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 28, 2008) - Forsys Metals Corp ("Forsys" or the "Company")(TSX:FSY)(FRANKFURT:F2T)(NSX:FSY) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Jimmie Wilde as General Manager of Valencia Uranium (Pty) Ltd ("VUL"), a Namibian based wholly-owned subsidiary of Forsys. In this capacity, Mr. Wilde will be based in Namibia and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the development of the Valencia Uranium Mine ("Valencia"). This appointment is effective the 1st day of August 2008. Mr. Wilde brings 32 years of mining experience to the position and has been directly responsible for bringing several new operations into production in Africa, Asia, Middle East and the Far East. During Mr. Wilde's career, he has held senior management positions with Rio Tinto (Zimbabwe), Harmony Gold Mining Company (South Africa), Falcon Gold (Zimbabwe), Oryx Natural Resources (DRC) and Gemfields Holdings (Zambia).
