Avino Intersects 1,189.0 g/t Silver, 6.171 g/t Gold at San Gonzalo Avino Silver & Gold Mines Ltd. (the Company) is continuing its drilling program on the San Gonzalo Zone at its large Avino Property located 80km north-east of Durango, Mexico. Previous holes at San Gonzalo have already been released: SG-07-01 through SG-07-08 March 12, 26, April 13 and June 11, 2007. Holes SG-07-12, 13 July 3, 2007. Holes SG-07-09, 10, 11, 14 and 15, July 27, 2007. Avino is now pleased to release results of holes SG-07-16, 17, 18 and 19. The San Gonzalo Zone is located 2km north-east of Avinos former producing mine (1976 2001) and 1,000 tpd mill The location of the drill holes can be viewed on the companys website in both plan and section. http://www.avino.com/s/Avino.asp Principal intersections of the 4 holes are summarized as follows: (all lengths are down hole, i.e. core length intersections). They show that the San Gonzalo vein narrows in this direction to sub economic widths and grades. Holes SG-07-18 intersected the San Gonzalo vein but in this locality within the zone below the old workings, the vein has split into two separate zones. The better values are in 233.35 234.90 (1,55m) which averages 0.92 g/t Gold, 89 g/t silver. Hole SG-07-19 defines the north western boundary of the San Gonzalo shoot. It shows only sub economic widths and grades of silver and gold in the San Gonzalo vein but did intersect 0.50m of 94.42 g/t gold and 266 g/t silver in a side vein. Sample lengths of NQ drill core were diamond sawed into halves by mine staff and shipped to inspectorate Labs in Durango, Mexico, for preparation into pulps and rejects. Pulps were analyzed at Inspectorate Labs in Sparks, Nevada. Gold and silver were analyzed by fire assay using Aqua Regia Leach and AA finish. Other elements are reported from a 29 element I.C.P. package. Holes SG-07-15, 16, 17 and 19 have thus defined the NW limits of significant mineralization on the San Gonzalo zone. Assays are awaited from one further hole in this area SG-07-20. Subsequent holes SG-07-21, 22, 23, 24, 25 appear to have extended the zone to the south east (See San Gonzalo section) but assays are not yet received. Avino is mobilizing a second diamond drill from its contractor Tecmin. This machine will explore the remaining ore in the ET part of the main Avino vein system below level 11.5 where mining ceased in November 2001 (due to low metal prices). This report was prepared by Chris J. Sampson, P. Eng., a qualified person under NI 43-101. Avino Silver & Gold Mines Ltd., founded in 1968, has established a long record of mining and exploration. The Companys focus is the acquisition and aggressive exploration of top silver prospects throughout North America. Avino remains well funded.
