1.5 kg Ag, 7.4 g/t Au, 10.1% Zn, and 7.3% Pb over
3.4 metres
at Nicholas-Denys
Rimouski, July
18, 2007 - Exploration Puma (PUM-TSXV) has just confirmed rich precious metals
values in the Hach deposit by intersecting a mineralized lens containing 1,513
g/t Ag, 7.4 g/t Au, 10.1% Zn, and 7.3% Pb over 3.4 metres in
borehole F07-15. This lens is part of a mineralized zone with an apparent
thickness of 40.3 metres,
grading 171 g/t Ag, 0.93 g/t Au, and 1.7% Zn. The mineralized zone consists of
three separate enrichment zones of massive to semi-massive sulphides, locally
called the North, Central, and South lenses. The Central lens
was intersected at a vertical depth of 50 metres,
and contains 720 g/t Ag, 3.8 g/t Au, 5.3% Zn, and 3.4% Pb over an apparent
thickness of 8.4
metres.

This borehole
was drilled on the same section as, and 30 metres north
of, borehole F06-01, whose results (including 462 g/t Ag, 3.6% Zn, 2.1% Pb, and
1.9 g/t Au over 6 metres)
confirm the presence of exceptionally rich precious-metal zones exhibiting
considerable thicknesses.
Note that the
definition drilling carried out on the Hach lens is aimed at defining the
quantity and quality of ore in the mineralized zones, and that the results
obtained will be used to estimate the resources according
to the 43-101 standards. The results from the ten other holes drilled on the
Hach lens will be released as soon as they become available.
The samples
were analyzed in the ALS Chemex laboratory at Val d’Or, using the atomic absorption
and ICP methods. The contents of
this press release were prepared by geologist Marcel Robillard, a
qualified person as defined in NI 43-101. The TSX Venture Stock Exchange
disclaims any responsibility for the veracity and accuracy
of this release.
