230 g/t Ag, 1.3 g/t Au, 3.6% Zn, and 2.8% Pb over 10.0 metres at
Nicholas-Denys
Rimouski,
September 04, 2007 - Puma Exploration (PUM-TSXV) has received the results from
its latest drilling program on the Hach lens, including borehole F07-16 with
grades of 230 g/t Ag, 1.3 g/t Au, 3.6% Zn, and 2.8% Pb over 10.0 metres.
All the
boreholes cut zones of silver-lead-zinc-gold mineralization, over lengths of
2.6 to 28 metres.
The Hach lens has so far been outlined by drilling over a surface length of 150 metres and a
vertical depth of 100 metres.
Possible extensions of the deposit have not yet been investigated either by
drilling or by surface stripping. The mineralized zones are therefore open in
all directions.

The Hach
lens is now being completely stripped on surface over an
area of 200 metres
by 50 metres.
The excavations will enable systematic, continuous sampling of the mineralized
zones by channels spaced no more than five metres apart. This sampling,
together with the drilling results, will then be used to calculate resources in
accordance with Standard 43-101. Metallurgical tests are also under way for
this lens, in particular to estimate the recovery of economic metals. The
results of the metallurgical testing and excavation work will be released as
soon as they become available.
Visit our website at www.explorationpuma.com to have more details about
the project.
The samples
were analyzed in the ALS Chemex laboratory at Val d’Or, using the atomic absorption
and ICP methods. The contents of
this press release were prepared by Geologist Marcel Robillard, a
qualified person as defined in NI 43-101. The TSX Venture Stock Exchange disclaims any
responsibility for the veracity and accuracy of this release.
