MPH Ventures
Drills 6.5 g/t Au over 8.0 metres on Raney Gold Project, NE Ontario
Vancouver,
BC MPH Ventures Corp. (TSX-V:
MPS) (FWB: IJA1) (the Company) reports assay
results for three holes on it’s 100% owned approx. 3500 acres Raney
Gold Project located southwest of Timmins in northeastern Ontario.
A total of ten diamond drill holes have been completed on the project, five holes
by past project operators and five holes by MPH (Table 1).
Diamond drilling, and now surface trenching, have traced the gold bearing
structure along 200 metres+ of strike extent, with drilling intersecting the
higher gold grades at the 100 metre vertical level.

Hole
R-09-08 intersected 6.52 g/t Au over 8.0 metres which included a 3.5 metre wide
grey quartz vein containing four occurrences of visible gold. A
second mineralized zone located 6 metres down hole, assayed 1.01 g/t Au over
5.0 metres. The gold mineralization is located at the 100 metre
vertical level and correlates to the position of the gold
mineralization in R-08-04, 7.7 g/t Au over 6.8 metres within a
broader zone of 3.9 g/t Au over 17.2 metres. With the presences
of visible gold in several holes, the sample rejects from the mineralized
zones are currently being re-analyzed using a screened metallic method.

Holes
R-09-09 and R-09-10 evaluated the near surface continuity of the zone. Both
holes intersected narrow sections of low grade mineralization within the
alteration zone.

Pettit commented The higher gold grades intersected in holes
99-01, R-08-04, R-09-06, and R-09-08 are all positioned at around the 100
metre level. The higher grades combined with the increased widths
indicate greater exploration potential below the 100 metre level. With
the few holes completed to date we are able to develop the general outline of
what we anticipate to be higher grade shoots of gold mineralization. Our
future drill programs will target the depth potential of this intriguing zone
as well as extending the zone along strike.
The
exploration program is being carried out under the direction of Todd Keast, P. Geo. The information in this news release was
prepared by Todd Keast, P. Geo., a qualified person
as defined by National Instrument 43-101. The company has a quality
control program to ensure best practices in the sampling and analysis of
drill core. Sample preparation is done at ALS Chemex
Prep Lab located in Sudbury, Ontario,
with the pulps shipped to ALS Chemex Assay
Laboratory in Vancouver,
B.C. All samples are assayed for gold by Fire Assay with an AA finish,
using 30 gram samples. Accuracy of results is tested through the
systematic inclusion of blanks and reference standards. ALS Chemex is an ISO 17025 certified Laboratory.
