Applications Systems for Managing Impact of the Proposed Work on the Community (Landowners, Occupiers and Environment)
Jervois Mining will initially contact landholders/occupiers, local councils and community groups that have an involvement with the areas to be sampled. This is in addition to applying to the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport & Resources (DEDJTR) for an exploration permit.
Permission will be sought from landholders/occupiers to access areas for ground reconnaissance and surface sampling in the usual way, through use of a land access agreement. Surface sampling will be restricted to outcrop, alluvium or loose surface rubble.
Access to exploration areas will be restricted to 4WD tracks, fence lines and on foot. Compensation will be paid if there is any impediment to the working or use of land to the landowner/occupier in the area being sampled.
There will be no damage or removal of vegetation, no access into restricted or sensitive areas or into areas that landholder/occupiers have requested to be annexed from the reconnaissance.
The Applicant (Jervois Mining Limited) will Meet the Licensee's Obligations Under 39A of the MRSDA to Consult with the Community
During the initial licensing term, landholders/occupiers will be kept informed of the results of any reconnaissance or mapping work. The results of these works will also be reported to Jervois shareholders on the ASX.
If, after the initial licensing term and/or the reconnaissance work is completed, the area considered suitable for further exploration will be delineated and a further work plan will be formed which will include drilling and contacting for the purpose of advising and negotiating with the relevant local Shire Councils and community groups.
