ALEXIS MINERALS CORPORATION (News - Market indicators)(OTCQX:AXSMF) ("Alexis" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that, in connection with its bought deal offering for gross proceeds of $17.5 million that closed May 12, 2011 (the "Offering"), the underwriters have exercised in full their over-allotment option to purchase an additional 26,250,000 common shares (the "Optioned Shares") of the Company at a price of C$0.10 per Optioned Share for aggregate gross proceeds to the Company of C$2,625,000.
The Optioned Shares were sold pursuant to the over-allotment option granted to the Underwriters by the Company pursuant to the underwriting agreement between the Company and a syndicate of underwriters led by Cormark Securities Inc. and National Bank Financial Inc., as lead underwriters, and including TD Securities Inc., Desjardins Securities Inc., Raymond James Ltd., GMP Securities L.P. and Loewen, Ondaatje, McCutcheon Limited (the "Underwriters").
